    Wobo is brought to you by the product team at Course Studio. We're a funded start-up that is part agency, part product shop, and fully focused on the creator economy. Our team has worked for some of the largest players in online learning including Masterclass, Blue Wire Podcasts, and Thinkific.

     

    Our team is Mehrdad, Dexter, Yuri, Ashley and Kashmala with fearless leadership from our CEO Tonner. Combined we have 5 dogs and 2 cats, who often join our Zoom meetings.

  • Are student workbooks private? Who can view workbook responses?

    Only the student, instructor, and the instructor's invited team members have access to a given workbook. Workbooks can not be seen by other students within the same group.

     

    All Wobo users must successfully complete authorization via email and password or single sign-on (SSO) in order to access workbook content and responses.

  • Are Wobo accounts secure? What measures are in place to ensure this?

    Security is at the forefront of our focus. The Wobo team has taken the following measures to ensure that your data is secure and private:

     

    • All accounts created in Wobo are secured by an email and password combination. Users who create and access accounts via single sign-on (SSO) complete login through a secure oAuth 2.0 authorization flow.
    • To increase the security of the storage of personally identifiable information, passwords are not stored in our database and only exist in our identity provider.
    • Our API has access control measures in place that protects routes by only allowing access with particular permissions. This is frequently tested following our thorough quality assurance testing process.
    • Our front-end and API only allow access with a valid access token provided by our identity provider.
  • What type of customer support do you offer?

    All subscriptions are eligible for personal, one on one support via email or video call to help with getting set up, troubleshooting, and general support.

     

    For those who prefer self-serve support, our help docs outline detailed instructors for both student and instructors and are updated regularly. We also keep up to date release notes and send a monthly product update email to keep our customers updated with the newest product features.

     

    Support is available in English and Spanish between 9am - 4am Pacific time, Monday - Friday.

  • How is data stored?

    Students' responses are not stored in the browser at any time. They are stored in a secure database and attributed to each individual student using a unique ID.

     

    Account data is backed up 4-times daily as a measure to prevent data loss.

  • What happens when students single sign-on (SSO) through Thinkific?

    When a student accesses a workbook through a Thinkific course, a Wobo account is created on their behalf and all of their responses are stored such that only that student and their instructor can have future access.

  • What data do you have access to? Can I request my data be removed?

    Information required for your account creation includes, but is not limited to, name, company name, email, IP address, and Thinkific subdomain if applicable.

     

    You can request data erasure at any time by contacting our team.

  • How does pricing work? What's an "Active Student"?

    Basic Plan: Ideal for individuals, includes 250 Monthly Active Users and 10 Workbooks at $39.99 USD per month.

     

    Pro Plan: Suitable for small teams, includes 500 Monthly Active Users and unlimited Workbooks at $79.99 USD per month.

     

    Enterprise Plan: Tailored for organizations with more than 500 students. For pricing and details, please contact us directly.

     

    A monthly active student is one that accesses a new or existing workbook within the billing period. If a student does not access their workbook within your billing period, you will not be charged for them as a monthly active student.

     

    Billing periods are monthly (30 days) and will renew 30 days from when your subscription started.

     

    If the same student accesses more than one workbook from you, they will only be counted as one active student.

  • Do I need to enter payment information to start a free trial?

    We think free trials should be free, so you do not need to enter any payment information to start your free trial.

  • Will I be charged when the free trial ends?

    You don't need to cancel your trial, and you will not be charged when the trial ends, even if you've integrated your Wobo account with another product like Thinkific.

     

    You can contact us to request your workbooks and account data be deleted at any time.

  • Does Wobo offer Non-profit or Charity discounts?

    No, Wobo does not offer discounts for non-profit organizations or charities. However, we are committed to providing affordable solutions and supporting organizations of all types. If you have specific inquiries or needs, please feel free to reach out to our team for further assistance.
